KapStone is a leading producer of wet strength kraft papers used in a wide variety
of packaging applications. We offer basis weights from 40 lb to 78 lb on a 3,000
square foot basis. Our wet strength products provide superior strength, moisture
resistance, good tear and puncture resistance, and an excellent printing surface.

Wet Strength Cemistry
As defined by end use requirements, wet strength chemical
resins are added to maintain paper integrity in wet and humid
environments. These resins act as a net of protection holding the
fibers together once moisture absorbs into the sheet.
Options
Green Stripe - A green stripe can be applied to indicate the addition of wet strength resin.
Sizing – Depending on the manufacturing location and end use requirements, additional sizing can be added to the furnish to provide additional moisture resistance.
