Interested Students (including those who have already applied for Entrance Test to be held in

Foreign Nationals / NRI candidates seeking admission to the concerned courses are required to
compete amongst themselves for the seats for them by appearing in the Entrance Test if they are in
India. If the candidate is not present in India at the time of Entrance Test, then s/he shall be
exempted from the Entrance Test. The foreign candidates shall have to comply with visa and other
requirements prescribed by the Govt. of India, U.T. Administration, Chandigarh, and Panjab University,
Chandigarh as prescribed by them from time to time.

Hand Book of Information and Rules for Admission-2016 (also available at
http://admissions.puchd.ac.in) regarding eligibility criteria, number of seats, reservations policy
etc. can be obtained from Sale Counter, Administrative Block (Basement), Panjab University,
Chandigarh on cash payment of Rs.600/- and by post from the Manager, Publication Bureau, PU,
Chandigarh, 160 014 against account payee Bank Draft of Rs. 710/- drawn in favour of Registrar,
Panjab University, payable at Chandigarh.
Admission forms for courses at Sr. No. 3 & 4 can be downloaded from PU website
http://forms.puchd.ac.in free of cost. However, finally admitted students, will be charged Rs. 65/as cost of admission form along with admission fees.
Candidates seeking admission in Sports Category, shall alongwith Admission Form, will submit the
following documents to the concerned department and photocopy of one complete set of
application form along with the all relevant documents after paging all the documents will submit
in the office of the Directorate of Sports. The candidates are required to appear for trial in proper
sports kit along with original sports certificates on University Grounds as per schedule between
15.7.2016 to 18.7.2016 (for schedule contact office of the Directorate of Sports (Off. Ph. 2541042,
2544081). Presence of candidate in the field at appointed time is mandatory. No separate
intimation will be sent. The following documents (in original) are required to be brought at the
time of trials:1.
Self attested photocopies of sports certificates

DMC of Class 10th, 12th and B.A. showing date of Birth
3.
The affidavit of sports achievements (Annexure-III) available in Hand Book of Information2016 duly attested by a Notary/Magistrate Class-I/II on a Stamp Paper of Rs. 5/-.

Roster Form/List of players duly attested by the competent authority of concerned
tournament/ Championship. The photograph of the player should also be pasted on the
certificate duly attested by the competent authority of concerned tournament/championship.
