Email activity - Distribution Lists
Overview: There will be times during this course when you will want to send mail to the
entire class. You could write mail to each person individually or you could “copy & paste”
the message and send it to each person separately. Using the address book capability of
creating a “list” is more efficient.
In this activity you will:
• create a group mailing list for our class
Process:
1. Launch Netscape. Go to Yahoo mail. www.yahoo.com
2. Type your ID and password.
3. Click on the Addresses arrow link and
choose the Add List.
Type in the name of the list (like “internet class”
Select the people you want to add to the list from your email addresses and click Add.
The names will appear in the right window. Click Save when you are finished adding name
to the list
