of generators and UPS sets
TELEMA load resistors are the simplest, safest way to perform load
tests on generating or UPS sets, both acceptance or periodic tests,
necessary to be able to check the efficiency of your emergency set
periodically
These loads can also be used as permanent dummy loads, to obtain,
in test phase and during normal use, an optimal load level for diesel
engines in the presence of reduced user load, thus preventing
dangerous oil leaks from the ring which would cause more smokes,
the dirtying of the valves and a reduction of the power efficiency and,
last but not least, a considerable increase of maintenance times

The Custom Design advantage
TELEMA load banks are custom designed to optimise your testing
capabilities.
Made of low temperature-coefficient resistance materials to
exacting tolerances, they provide an accurate and stable load to
minimise unwanted variables in your testing.
TELEMA resistor grids are made in thickness from 0,5 to 4 mm,
and various configurations. They feature very low inductance, very
high overload capabilities and long life. Ideally suited to either
convection or forced-air cooling, they allow our designs the utmost
flexibility in tailoring your load bank precisely to your needs.
TELEMA custom designed load banks can also be provided with
special features such as:
- mixed loads – up to 36 kV - including inductance and capacitance,
to give you any electrical characteristics you need
- complete control and instrumentation, including: switches,
contactors and solid-state devices
