Tank Vent Check Valves (APH Series)
Designed to prevent seawater from entering tanks, while allowing air or vapor from within the tank to
escape when the tank is being filled, and take in air when the tank is being discharged. Tank Vents are
also needed for tanks in the storage mode to allow them to “breathe”. Corrosion resistant flame
screens are also included to provide ignition protection when venting fuel oil tanks.
The Fabricated Design allows for a wide range of materials including:
Carbon Steel - Stainless Steel - Aluminum
Sizes offered: 2" through 12"
Cast Design Offered in Carbon and Stainless steel sizes 2” through 4”
Inverted Tank Vent Check Valves (PM-1 Series)
Used for the same purposes as the vertical style check valves. The Inverted Tank Vent Valves are
attached to a "gooseneck" pipe. Corrosion resistant flame screens are also included to provide ignition
protection when venting fuel oil tanks.
Cast design offered in Galvanized Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Bronze and Aluminum.
Connections include Threaded, Butt-weld, and Flanged

Deck Drains and Sounding Tube Deck Fittings
The DD and the DDXH Series come standard with a Galvanized Carbon Steel housing and a bronze
strainer. The DDXH Series has a trap/baffle strainer to create a liquid seal for use in any area that odor
is an issue. Connections: Threaded, Butt-weld and Socketweld
Sounding Tube deck fittings are designed to provide watertight closing devices that are always
accessible under normal operating conditions to enable sounding of the tanks.
Material: Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel Body with Bronze Plug. Wrench Sold Separately
Suction Strainer Box
Suction Strainer boxes are designed for use in ships’ bilges and other such tank locations that require
trash protection for suction pipes and pumps. Our fabricated design makes for a wide range of
material options including Galvanized Carbon Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.

requirements for your vessel, platform or workboat.
The PM-1 series is designed to prevent seawater from
entering tanks, while allowing air or vapor from within
the tank to escape when the tank is being filled, and take
in air when tank is being discharged. Tank Vents are also
needed for tanks in the storage mode to allow them to
“breathe”.
The classic inverted design (Gooseneck) offers the
simplest means for your venting requirements.
Corrosion resistant flame screens are also included to
provide ignition protection when venting fuel oil tanks.
Pro-Mar’s innovative design reduces the number of
spare parts making disassembly and inspection faster
and easier than other valves on the market.

its contoured housing and smooth edges, while still
maintaining the classic 3 piece design for ease of
inspection and cleaning that is required by ABS.

We bring a very wide array of equipment to bear on
the job at hand. Our services include CNC milling (4th
axis capable), conventional milling, CNC turning,
manual turning, surface grinding, cylindrical grinding,
fabrication, inspection, design and documentation,
and reverse engineering. We can competitively
manufacture lot sizes as big as thousands or as small
as one, and can hold tolerances of .0001”. If it is
broken we can probably fix it. Our focus is on solving
your problems. If you need it done, ask!
If it exists, but is unavailable to you because of obsolescence or prohibitive price, we'll
reverse engineer it from a part or a drawing and manufacture it quicker, cheaper, and better.

Fabrication Services and Capabilities
We fabricate all types of small, large, or heavy sheet metal parts to precision. Our skilled staff
can bend, form, weld, and stamp parts to exact customer specifications. Abrasion resistant
plates, perforated metals, and steel plates of thicknesses ranging from 0.005" to 0.750" can
be fabricated at our job shop.
Tolerances as close as 0.015" are achieved in all our sheet metal fabrication operations. We
fabricate tooling used in special applications. In addition to tool fabrication, we assist
customers with design, assembly, and finishing as well. Polishing and etching are some of our
value-added finishing services. Our fabrication processes comply with Mil-Spec standards.
CNC shearing, CNC forming, plate and structural rolling, punching and welding are among the

process for small to large fabricated products.
