How to calculate letter height:
Letter Height = (plate width) ÷ (# of characters & spaces)
Note: if there is more than one line of copy,
use formula on longest line of copy.
Example = Plate Size Requested: 10"W x 2"H
Copy to Read: YOUR COMPANY NAME, INC., INC
Formula: (10) ÷ (20) = 0.5 or 1/2"
Answer: Letter height will be 1/2"
