wish to avoid last-minute preparations and want to witness improvement in
school grades and predicted scores, which are oftern used in future university
applications.

Intensive Revision Courses are examination-oriented and are designed
to allow students to efficiently revise the topics learnt and to prepare for internal
mock examinations and final public examinations by practicing and drilling on

8 Our Mission and Management
In 2007, she ranked 15th out of 200,000 students in Jilin Province for China’s Entrance
Exam, and received a full scholarship from the University of Hong Kong. Living in Hong
Kong for 8 years, Nicole devoted all her time in science: a BSc major in physics, minor in
chemistry, as well as a PhD degree in quantum transport, which is a branch of theoretical
physics. As with her spare time, she indulges herself in Muay Thai and boxing. Whenever
there’s a chance, she will travel. Just like the Chinese saying, “Read ten thousand books,
walk ten thousand miles”, Nicole’s journey just started.
Andy
B.A. in Philosophy and International Studies, University of Washington
Areas of Expertise: Theory of Knowledge, History, Philosophy and Religious
Studies
Andy is a lover of knowledge and learning in general, and that of Philosophy, History
and Religion in particular. While theoretical knowledge is certainly important, real life
experience and how one relates to what is studied in everyday live is equally crucial.
Andy likes to bring in alternative but practical perspectives to tackle problems in the true
spirit of learning; there is little worth in repeating textbooks and engraved information.
Andy’s interests are in many, perhaps too many. Many fields and arts will perhaps bring
on something of interest entirely new to your life.
