Espressotoria® Capsule Machine: Warranty Against Defects
In this warranty:
We or Us means Cantarella Bros Pty Limited (ABN 68 000 095 607) of 118 Wetherill Street Silverwater NSW 2128, and in
New Zealand of 162 Grafton Road, Grafton, Auckland. Our contact details are set out below;
You means the purchaser or the original end-user of the Goods;
Supplier means the authorised distributor or retailer of the Goods that sold you the Goods in Australia or New Zealand; and
Goods means the product which was accompanied by this warranty and purchased in Australia or New Zealand.
Australia: Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a
replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are
also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.
New Zealand: Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This
warranty applies in addition to the conditions and guarantees implied by that legislation.
Additional Warranty
We warrant that the Goods will be free from faulty parts, manufacture and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the
date of purchase from the Supplier (the Warranty Period). Defects that occur within the Warranty Period, under normal use
and care, and where none of your statutory rights apply, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. Our warranty
is in addition to the rights and remedies you may have under law. Our warranty is valid only in Australia and New Zealand,
for Goods purchased in Australia and New Zealand, and is not transferrable.
Proof of Purchase
You must keep your purchase docket, tax invoice or receipt as best proof of purchase, and as proof of the date on which the
purchase of the Goods was made.
Exclusions
This additional warranty does not cover:
•
Normal wear and tear to the Goods,
•
Any defects caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care,
unauthorised modification, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorised by us,
•
Any Goods that have not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating
instructions provided with the Goods, including but not limited to the use of incompatible capsules (being capsules not
designed to work in or with the Espressotoria Capsule Machine), and
•
Any damage caused by power outages, electrical power surge or improper power input or improper cable connection.
Liability
This additional warranty is limited to repair, replacement or substitution only. As far as the law permits, we will not be liable
for any loss or damage caused to property or persons arising from any cause whatsoever.

You may also make a claim under this Additional Warranty by writing to Cantarella Bros’ head office in Australia
or New Zealand (business address outlined below).

When making a claim, please ensure you provide a description of the Goods, an explanation of the defects, and
your personal details. If telephoning, you may be required to provide details concerning your purchase, so please
ensure you have your proof of purchase available and ready. If in writing, please provide details concerning your
purchase (including the date and place of purchase) and/or provide a copy of your proof of purchase.

Upon accepting your claim, you may be directed to return the Goods to our authorised service centres and will be
advised of the relevant address to return the Goods.
•
You will bear any expense for return of the Goods or otherwise associated with making your claim under this
additional warranty.
•
All returned Goods must be accompanied by satisfactory proof of purchase that clearly indicates the name and
address of the Supplier, the date and place of purchase and identifies the product.
