MODEL SS90-MGO: SOLID STATE GATE OPERATOR CONTROL BOARD
S/N____________________
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Solid State Securities “SS90" Model MGO gate operator circuit board is a 100% solid state control designed for use on
both slide and swing gate operators utilizing a 110VAC, 3 wire motor configuration. The SS90-MGO will interact with a
wide variety of external controls, including safety hardware and detection devices to create a comprehensive gate system.
The SS90-MGO, unlike most similar controls offering more optional features than those which are standard, incorporates
most industry desired control functions as basic features. Standard performance features include, a) single button, three
button and radio receiver control interfaces, b) both normally open and normally closed safety loops, a one pass anti-tail
gate loop as well as a phantom loop function, c) integral A.E.C obstruction sensing technology (Anti-Entrapment
Circuitry) with separate sensitivity adjustments to accommodate differing directional motor loads (i.e.: sloped installations,
etc.), d) separate adjustable timers for maximum run times and auto close functions, and e) dip switch selectability of most
features PLUS switch selection for motor rotation/limit switching eliminating the need to rewire for left hand/right hand
installations.
In addition to the unmatched standard features of the SS90-MGO, factory options include a Dual Motor model, standard
warning device outputs, bilingual voice warning modules and a battery backup feature connector for use with the
SS90-GBS, a D.C. gate backup system.
Verify use of control for compliance with all applicable installation standards as well as local codes established by the
authority having final jurisdiction. To be installed by factory authorized technicians only.
CAUTION: Review all installation instructions, procedures, cautions and warnings provided by gate manufacturer
relative to proper operation of this control with specific operator, as well as all warnings contained within this
manual prior to installing and/or servicing this product.
TEST ALL SYSTEM FUNCTIONS REGULARLY TO ASSURE PROPER OPERATION.
Installation and testing to factory specifications shall be performed by factory authorized personnel for
proper operation in accordance with all of the latest National Fire Protection Association (NFPA),
Underwriters Laboratories (UL), National Electrical Code (NEC), local, state, county, district and/or other
applicable building and fire standards, guidelines, regulations and codes including, but not limited to, all
appendices and amendments and the requirements of the local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).
