DESCRIPTION
The Rauland Model 3607 Horn Loudspeaker is recommended for application in correctional facilities,
schools, storage and service centers, parking facilities
and industrial plants. Virtually weatherproof and
vandal resistant, this double re-entrant loudspeaker
features 15 watts of continuous power, excellent frequency response, varitap-tap control/connect center,
built-in transformer with screwdriver-adjustable 7-
position watts/impedance selection switch.
Construction is treated, heavy-gauge aluminum
with driver, transformer and selector switch within a
waterproof housing; all exposed parts are plated and
sealed; equipped with enclosed wiring terminals.
Designed for convenient flush or recessed mounting.
Finish is gray baked enamel.
ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS
The Horn Loudspeaker shall be a Rauland Model
3607 or approved equal, virtually impervious to
weather or vandalism. It shall be of the double reentrant type with a power rating of 15 watts at full
range. Frequency range shall be 480 to 14,000 Hz; dispersion angle shall be 180°; sound pressure level shall
be 106dB at 1 watt at 1 meter.
The loudspeaker shall have impedance selection of
5000/2500/1300/666/333/89/45 ohms. Power taps shall
be 1.0/2.0/3.8/7.5/15 watts for 70 volt line and
.90/1.9/7.0/14 watts for 25 volt line.
The unit shall be weatherproof, constructed of
treated heavy-gauge aluminum, with all exposed
parts plated and sealed driver, line transformer and
selector switch shall be mounted within the housing.
Wiring terminals shall be fully enclosed. A corkrubber gasket between speaker flange and mounting
surface shall be provided. Finish shall be gray baked
enamel.
