Remarks:
1. The package is not available to any pregnant woman who requires or is associated with the followings:
special maternal care, special baby care, complicating pregnancy, gynaecological operation apart from
Caesarean Section, postnatal complications, multiple pregnancy, high risk pregnancy, pre-term labor and
usage of special equipment and instruments for pre-term baby, etc. Any signed package agreement or
arrangement is thereby automatically rendered ineffective.
2. Pregnant woman who wishes to join the package must inform the midwives and sign the required consent
documents. The terms of the package are binding and cannot be changed or revoked once the consent
documents are signed. There is no individual fee breakdown for the lump sum package amount.
3. There is no extra charge for vaginal delivery on Sunday or Public Holidays.
4. Pregnant woman who scheduled for Caesarean Section must turn up at the Maternity Ward at least four
hours before the time of operation.
5. The Hospital reserves all rights for any changes to the terms of the maternity package. All items subject to
change without prior notice.
6. For those who choose Bed A, extra $100/day will be charged for 2-beds room; extra $50/day will be charged
for 3-beds room.

Certificate on Confirmed Delivery Booking
[for Hong Kong and Expatriate (non-Mainland Chinese) Residents]
In order to assist better planning and utilization of labor ward facilities, security deposits are to be levied on clients
who wish to deliver their babies at St. Teresa's Hospital.
For intended mothers with HK Identity Cards and expatriate mothers (non-Mainland Chinese) a deposit of HK$6,000*
is to be levied. This can be paid in person, or by their representatives with copies of identity of the intended clients
and their doctors' duly completed delivery booking forms, at or around 16 weeks of gestation (with reference to the
expected date of delivery) with effective from June 2011.
If the required deposit is not paid at the appropriate time (at or around 16 weeks of gestation), the respective booking
for the intended client would automatically be cancelled by the Hospital without notice. For whatever reason that the
delivery is not eventuated at St. Teresa's Hospital, the HK$6,000 deposit will not be refunded.
Day and time of payment:
Monday to Friday (except public holidays): 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.

1. Foreign tourists requiring admission into the hospital have to pay an initial deposit of HK$40,000 in cash or by credit
cards
