This program offers a one-year certificate or two-year diploma that prepares students
for administrative management careers in business and government.
Food and Beverage Operations CERTIFICATE
Students in this one-year certificate program will master skills in the areas of wine,
the art of eating and dining, bartending and dining room service. Students will
learn in the classroom and through hands-on experience.
Culinary Arts CERTIFICATE, TRANSFERABLE
This certificate program is designed to meet the need for qualified cooks in the
hospitality industry.
Office Administration CERTIFICATE
This certificate program is a nine-month, full-time program designed to
provide students with the knowledge and skills required for accounting clerks,
administrative assistants, and general office assistants.
SCHOOL OF SCIENCE
Environmental and Conservation Sciences BACHELOR’S DEGREE
This four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Conservation
Sciences is offered jointly with the University of Alberta. Students take a mix of
Yukon College courses and U of A courses, all offered locally.
Renewable Resources Management
Northern Science DIPLOMA, TRANSFERABLE
This two-year diploma program delivers a strong northern science focus. It prepares
students for scientific or technical work in a northern environment.
Science CERTIFICATE, TRANSFERABLE
Students are able to take one academic year of science courses, transferable to
Canadian universities. The certificate of Science is available for those who wish
to transfer into the second-year of a Bachelor of Science or Engineering program
in Canada.
DIPLOMA, TRANSFERABLE
Graduates of this two-year program have found employment in diverse fields
such as lands and resource management offices with First Nations, fish and wildlife
enforcement, environmental assessment, protected areas, fisheries and private
consulting firms.
