Sensitivity: 5 µV/V/mmHg adjustable with a
reference voltage from the patient simulator.
Temperature
Simulation of fixed temperatures between 34°C
and 42°C, adjustable in 1 K-steps. Stepless
characteristics of temperature on a separate
channel selectable by menue-controls. The
simulated temperature sensors are the YSI 400series medical standard.
Respiration
Simulation of spontaneous respiration and
different forms of artificial respiration. Adjustable
frequencies and amplitudes, selectable relations
of inspiration and expiration. Different durations of
apnoea selectable.
Cardial time-volume simulation
Simulation of cardiac time-volume
measurements with the concept of
thermodilution. The user will have to select a
temperature of reference (for instance 37°C) and
a temperature of injection (for instance 2°C). The
PSI 300 will subsequently simulate the
progression of the desired flow.
