PIRF II ® Vante® Catheter Manufacturing System • The Vante PIRF® II system, utilizing precision energy control and heat placement, is specifically designed for small profile catheter manufacturing. • A proprietary mold design concentrates heat to an area as small as 1mm for tipping and butt weld applications. • The temperature control and precise heat placement of this system are especially critical in controlling flash and achieving quality welds of braided materials as well as materials with significant durometer differences. • The Vante PIRF® II system consists of a model 3220 RF generator and one of three forming platforms, depending on requirements of the specific application. • All platforms can be teamed with a variety of tipping, welding, and forming molds for different applications. • This product has been sunsetted and is therefore made to order and available for existing customers only.
