Notice to Installer for L5464, L5460:
1. Luminaire mounting canopy mounts directly over 4” standard octagonal wiring box.
2. Integral LED module and driver provided by BEGA within luminaire housing.
NOTE: LEDs are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching them directly
during installation.

L5464, L5460 - installation:
1. Loosen canopy nut and slide down canopy on cable.
2. Attach strain relief to top of cable (ceiling end) and tighten 1.5mm set screw to secure.
3. Mount crossbar to wiring box using hardware by others (screw size 6-32).
4. Connect SUPPLY (GREEN) GROUND WIRE to crossbar.
5. Make luminaire and supply wiring connections and tuck back in the wiring box:
MAIN VOLTAGE SUPPLY WIRE TO BLACK LUMINAIRE WIRE
NEUTRAL (COMMON) SUPPLY WIRE TO WHITE LUMINAIRE WIRE
If applicable:
DIMMING CONTROL WIRE (+) TO PURPLE DRIVER WIRE
DIMMING CONTROL WIRE (-) TO GREY DRIVER WIRE
6. Slide canopy and canopy nut up the cable and secure to ceiling over wiring box by tightening
canopy nut against canopy.
7. Screw lens into luminaire housing making sure the gasket is seated properly.
L5464, L5460 Cable shortening (if necessary):
1. Loosen the canopy nut. Slide canopy down the cable.
2. Undo wiring splices, loosen ground screw, and remove the ground wire.
3. Loosen 1.5mm set screw on strain relief and remove from cable.
4. Remove luminaire from octagonal wiring box.
5. Cut AT CANOPY END OF THE CABLE to desired length using proper cutting tools.
6. See “L5464, L5460 installation” section above for completing re-installation.
Relamping/Maintenance
Twist counter-clockwise to remove lens. Clean
luminaire and lens using only solvent-free cleansers.
Replace lens.
