Catalog Number – Offers a Quick Selection option based on nomenclature. This tool would be used if you already have the nomenclature available from a reorder, catalog selection or previous selection. Each selection will filter the next available selections. Use the white arrow to the far right to reset. 4 | © Baldor Electric Company Quantis Configurator Updates Catalog Number Selection As you select your input catalog string, you will notice the Catalog Number box in the Right Navigation Panel populate. After the input catalog string has been populated, you will have additional selection fields appear. NOTE: Required fields open up additional selection options. This provides clear guidance on information required for complete selection. *Prime Mover/Rating (required field) • Selection of Input Power (HP), Input Power (KW), Output torque (in-lbs), Output Torque (NM). Defaults to HP or KW, depending on the input catalog string selected. NEMA input frame will default to HP. IEC input frame will default to KW. *Input Speed (RPM) (required field) • Selection of 960, 1160, 1450, 1750, 2875, 3450 Input rpm must be selected regardless of Prime Mover/Rating selected. This selection launches the Standard Catalog data Pop Up for the reducer selection based on the input catalog string. 5 | © Baldor Electric Company Quantis Configurator Updates Catalog Number Selection Select the unit based on appropriate ratio/output rpm in the Standard Catalog Data pop up box. 6 | © Baldor Electric Company Quantis Configurator Updates Catalog Number Selection A standard configuration can be completed on the Catalog Config tab. Once all required fields have been selected on this initial tab, then the remaining tabs will open. Right Navigation Panel Pricing Detail Box- List price details are expanded. This can be collapsed by clicking “View Summary”. Catalog Number Box- Shows complete catalog number for selection. MSM has universal housing. Ultra Kleen has separate selection path. Motor Type will default to NEMA or IEC depending on Prime Mover/Rating selected (HP or KW) *Motor Frame- restricted by IEC or NEMA and HP value (if selected). Click Show Catalog Selection to select another reducer from the Standard Catalog Data box. This can be used to select an other ratio/output rpm within the same size reducer selection (Catalog Number selection). It can also be used to select a different size reducer within the same ratio/output rpm variance. Paint specifications 17 | © Baldor Electric Company Quantis Configurator Updates Motor Information Tab- C Face Motors Baldor Stock Motor › This motor option consists of STOCK motors that are currently loaded to the configurator. They only apply to 1750 rpm NEMA motors. You can select your motor by filtering on the required specs and motor category. Baldor Production › This motor option includes any Baldor stock, non stock catalog number or spec number that is NOT currently loaded in the configurator. This motor will be ordered by the Belton plant to be assembled to the reducer. Conduit Box Position must be noted on the order. Belton CANNOT order Mod X Motors or Custom Configured Motors that have not been assigned a spec number. These must be ordered as Customer Supplied (see Other Motor). NOTE: Pricing must be adjusted manually by Quantis Marketing to include the motor pricing. Other Motor- Customer Supplied Motors ONLY! › This motor option is designated for all customer supplied motors, regardless of manufacturer. This would include Baldor motors supplied by a district office, or a competitor motor supplied by the customer. Sales order and model number are required for Baldor customer supplied motors. Model number and Manufacturer name required for non Baldor motors. Non standard Baldor Motors and Other Motor assemblies are subject to approval by Quantis Marketing and the Belton Plant. Quotes will automatically go onto Baldor Review.
