Description:
The above multi-candela strobe has a high output xenon strobe capable of visually signaling evacuation using the
ISO 8201 “T3” temporal pattern, as required by AS1670.4-2004 and AS 1670.1-2004. These strobes produce white
light with an intensity that is link-selectable. Refer Table for Candela Output.
The unit is a wall mount type with a housing constructed from flame retardant thermoplastic with the word “FIRE”
written in red letters.
The strobes contain an internal diode, allowing reverse polarity supervision without the need for additional
components. They also feature a circuit design that ensures a consistent flash output and controlled inrush current.
I2000 – Connection
The strobes can be driven by an I-2000 Evacuation System using a STRM9502 module (PA0697) with software
version 1.70 or later. Connect the positive strobe terminal to the B terminal of the STRM9502 and the negative to
the A terminal of the STRM9502. DIP Switch 5 on the STRM9502 must be switch off, 6, 7 and 8 must be switched
on.
** Note Any DIP switch changes will only take effect once the system is powered down then powered back
up**
