Driescher GmbH Eisleben
was founded on July 1st, 1991 in Luther's town of Eisleben,
as a legally independent associated company of the
Elektrotechnische Werke Fritz Driescher & Söhne GmbH.
The reason for taking this step was the availability of
well-trained specialist staff as well as the favourable
geographical position of Eisleben.Our company strategy
was to offer the customer a complete range of services
right from the beginning.
Together with our suppliers and partner companies we are
in a position to implement complex power supply systems
with all the required components, including the associated
cable networks.
As a result of consistent expansion in our production profile
as well as the further development and extension of our
products, we are able to fit our systems with a practically
unlimited range of equipment and can respond to virtually
every customer demand.
DRIESCHER systems come with all the required test certificates and approvals.
It is a matter of course that we complement our services
with concrete prefabricated stations, compensation
systems, transformers, stand-by generating units and
other components.
Our company fitters use top quality technical equipment
and have the appropriate certification, putting us in a position
to fully outfit concrete prefabricated stations as well as
customer-built switch and function rooms making them
ready for connection. It is also possible for us to operate
on building sites where our fitters can complete quality
assembly work of the projects ordered.
In this respect please note that we have designed special
conversion variants for old transformer substations, many
of which have now been implemented and have led to
more cost efficient alternatives.
We have now supplied and assembled over 1000 concrete
prefabricated stations, including their medium-voltage and
low-voltage equipment and have provided a large number
of complex central power supply stations for hospitals,
company buildings and wind power stations, testifying to
our company's efficiency and the excellent qualification of
our workforce.

Dribo spol. s.r.o. was founded by the Elektrotechnische
Werke Fritz Driescher & Söhne GmbH and two Czech
partners, Dipl.-Ing. Stanislav Bartos and Dr. Ing. Lubomir
Ottich on August 29th, 1995.
The company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of
medium voltage switchgear (6 - 38.5 kV) for indoor and
outdoor use. An additional field of activity is the production
and sale of switchpanels and switchgear.
In addition to the products of the DRIESCHER group of
companies, work is also being carried out in the company's
own development sector, for remote control units for
switchgear, for example.
Despite the short period of time since the founding of the
company, we have succeeded in becoming an established
manufacturer and supplier for items required by the
Czech and Slovak electricity generating and distributing
networks.
Dribo supplies products for all electricity supply companies
in the Czech and Slovakian Republics. The largest marketing
sector is made up by switchgear for overhead lines.
The products are presently being exported to Croatia and
countries of the Middle East.
