Architectural LED exit sign
The XY-VEX range of LED emergency exit signs combines Mackwell technology with
aesthetic design.
XY-VEX is an architectural 3 hour high quality LED operated emergency exit sign that can be used
in maintained or non-maintained mode. XY-VEX is available with a choice of technology options
including DALI.
Designed for fast fix installation, the first fix allows the installer to complete the wiring before
decoration.
XY-VEX incorporates solid state LEDs providing a 50,000 hour life expectancy.

XY-VEX is available with the following technology options:
✔ Mackwell AutoTest®
Provides the user with self-contained automatic testing in compliance to IEC/EN 62034. This enables faults to be identified fast via the status LED indicator. Mackwell AutoTest® provides automatic
commissioning as well as periodic functional testing.*
✔ DALI AutoTest®
Provides further benefits by enabling testing and monitoring of an emergency lighting system either
on-site or via an internet connection. DALI AutoTest® is ideal for monitoring larger buildings and
multiple sites.
✔ Central Battery
Suitable for central battery applications that use a nominal AC or DC supply of 110V to 240V that
includes a hold-off input to inhibit the LED driver output when a mains supply is connected.
✔ N-light® EC
Designed to work alongside Redwood’s low-voltage, direct current lighting, power and intelligence
building platform. Must only be used in conjunction with the N-Light® EC.
*Please note that for AutoTest® products, the start times for the tests are set automatically to ensure random testing of the units at
times of minimum risk. As a consequence tests may occur at any time, and caution should be exercised in situations where this
might be inconvenient.
DALI AutoTest® products will default to Mackwell AutoTest® when not connect to a DALI network.
