23-24 April 2015
Two days of scientific collaboration, learning and networking with colleagues from different
countries at the Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) when Latvia will hold the
Presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2015. During the Presidency, around 200
events at different levels will be organised in Latvia
The International Scientific - Practical Conference
“European-Asian Transport Corridors: Trends. Strategies. Practices.”
This Conference is intended for academics, researchers, practitioners and business representatives involved
in research, university-industry interaction, innovation and entrepreneurship. Innovative systems, new
approaches and original ideas need to be thoroughly tested and critically evaluated before they can be
implemented in practice, which highlights the importance of meetings such as this.
The variety of topics covered at the Conference reflects the complex interaction of transport systems with
their environment and the need to establish integrated strategies. The aim of the Conference is to arrive at
optimal socio-economic solutions while reducing the negative environmental impacts of current
transportation systems.

Call for Abstracts and Proposals
We are now calling for abstracts for the papers. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee as
well as published in the Conference Proceedings (with ISBN number) and on the Conference website.
Abstracts (about 600 words in length) submitted for review should be in the English language and should
present a clear and concise view of the motivation of the subject, give an outline, and include information on
all authors (full name, affiliation, address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address of the
corresponding author).
Scientific papers presented at the Conference and accepted with positive International Advisory Committee
referees' reports will be published in the Conference Proceedings (with ISBN number) and included in the
International Publishing Databases.
The results of scientific explorations gained during this Conference and recommended by the Programme
Committee will be published in the international scientific journal Transport and Telecommunications
(SCOPUS).
