Red Deer 911 is linked to Drumheller 911 via analog radios. Red Deer 911 is also linked to Drumheller EMS via a separate analog radio link. There are two repeaters operating as ‘Kneehill County Fire / EMS’ and ‘Kneehill Public Works’ The Kneehill Fire/EMS is linked to both Drumheller and Red Deer. The Wimborne tower site upgrade includes: E The existing building is in poor condition and needs to be replaced. The existing coax and antennas will be replaced. Unused or abandoned equipment will be removed. The site will be grounded as per Motorola R56 Communications Site Standards. D Drawing Package For Review: C B H G 1. Supply, delivery, and installation of a new 10x12 foot communications shelter. - Steel base, insulated construction complete with Lighting, HVAC, 120/240 AC Service Panel including breakers, wall outlets, and overhead outlets. - Steel Pile, gravel pad, or concrete pad must be specified. F 2. Supply, delivery, and installation of tower antenna systems to replace the existing antennas with equivalent. Installation includes Antennas, Coax, Grounding Systems. Proponent will be required to identify a replacement procedure that minimizes system down time. 3. Supply, delivery and installation of a tower site grounding system as per this document. Materials in this document are provided as guidelines, proponent may substitute manufacturers but must identify the system components. Note that reversible connections in the below grade ground connections are not acceptable. All below grade grounding connections must be of the 12 ton irreversible compression type as per drawings. This document contains information proprietary to Kneehill County and as such will only be used for the purposes of responding to the RFQ or RFP requested by Kneehill County.
