BY-Laws
SECRETARY: It shall be the duty of the Secretary to keep the Constitution and By-Laws of the club
and have the same with him/her at every meeting. He/she shall cause all amendments, changes and
additions to be noted thereon and shall permit the same to be consulted by members upon request.
MEMBERSHIP: Regular membership is open to licensed amateur radio operators. Associate
membership is open to all other interested persons . Regular membership includes all club privileges as
well as rights to hold a club office and to vote. Associate membership includes club privileges except
for the right to hold office and vote. Applications for membership shall be submitted at regular
meetings.
MEETINGS: Regular meetings shall be held on the fourth Thursday of each calendar month at such
place as the President shall order. Special meetings may be called by the President upon the written
request of any three club members. Notice shall be sent to members concerning special meetings and
the business to be transacted. Such notices shall be sent so that in the ordinary postal delivery they
arrive not less than twenty four hours before the meeting time.
DUES: A regular yearly assessment of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per member is hereby assessed in
accordance with the provisions of Article V of the Constitution for the purpose of providing funds for
current expenses.
AMERICAN RADIO RELAY LEAGUE (ARRL) AFFILIATION: It shall be an aim of
this club to have a minimum of fifty one percent (51%) of its members to also be members of:
“The American Radio Relay League, Incorporated” so that this club may avail itself of the benefits
available thru ARRL club affiliation.
