SCIENTIFIC PRESENTATION AWARDS
1. The scientific paper titled “Tuberculous ulcer of the tongue with
oral complications of oral antituberculosis therapy – a case report”
presented by Dr Ajay G Nayak at the XVII National Conference of
the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Wardha,
Maharashtra 2006.has been selected for the best paper award.
2. The scientific essay titled “e-Medicine and Teleradiology in
Dentistry” written by Dr Shishir R Shetty (PG Student, Department
of Oral Medicine & Radiology, YDC) was awarded a certificate of
appreciation at the XVII National Conference of the Indian
Academy of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Wardha, Maharashtra
2006.
3. Case presented by Dr.Shishir Shetty-Steven-Johnson syndrome-A
case report has got the best paper award The National P.G
Convention “Jnanadhare-2007” organized by Indian Academy of
Oral Medicine & Radiology in association with Oxford Dental
College was held in Bangalore on 27th, 28th & 29th September
2007.
4. Poster presented for competition as a part of eye donation
awareness campaign on 7th September 2007 at Yenepoya Medical
College. The poster has a simple theme and motivates the public
for eye donation. This poster from the Dept of Oral Medicine and
Radiology, presented by Dr.Avinash Tejasvi and Dr.Abdulla Mufeed
(PG Students) who won the consolation prize.
