fixtures, has introduced BSP3-LC Series of LED Driver and ballast surge-protection
devices.

electronic ballasting.

Product Applications: The BSP3-LC Series of LED Driver and ballast surge
protectors are designed to offer professional lighting specifiers, installers, end users and
commercial light fixture manufacturers new-found levels of lighting safety, operating
economy and longer life. They can be used in LED, fluorescent or high-intensity
discharge lighting systems in all interior high-bay and low-bay, or outdoor commercial
lighting installations.

BSP3-LC Series of LED Driver and ballast surge protectors are particularly useful in
avoiding costly problems in 24/7 applications. These include big-box retail, parking
garages, transportation and government facilities, and warehousing applications where
LED, fluorescent or H.I.D. light fixtures need to operate reliably, without risk of
premature failures caused by surges in line power or unexpected voltages.
Product Description: The BSP3-LC Series of LED Driver and ballast surge
protectors comprises compact, stand-alone electronic modules, about the size of a
cylindrical shape C-cell battery, that install inside any line-voltage LED, fluorescent
or H.I.D. lighting fixture. BSP3-LC Series surge protectors virtually eliminate
premature driver or ballast failures from power surges and transient current that cause
costly lighting fixture components to suddenly “burn out” when on.
BSP3-LC Series surge protection may be specified for new or retrofit installations,
or as routine maintenance additions to present fixtures. Individual BSP3-LC Series
models are suited for 120-, 277-, 347- or 480-volt power.
Design & Construction:
BSP3-LC Series of surge protectors are easily
handled space-saving units with three wire leads for Line-Ground, Line-Neutral and
Neutral-Ground protection. They have high-temperature, flame-proof plastic
enclosures with 85°C surface temperature ratings and are rated to 10,000 amps. For
use with any brand of LED Driver, electronic fluorescent or H.I.D. ballasts. BSP3-LC
Series meets IEEE/ANSI C62.41 guidelines and is UL, cUL recognized.
