Hunt Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Designer with expertise in designing power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage building systems.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and managing engineering projects of different size and complexity throughout the life cycle of the project. Designs will include calculations, analysis, specifications, and drawings normally required in the electrical construction industry for permitting and construction.

The candidate will join a team that consists of licensed professional engineers, CAD operators, and

Revit operators. Experienced estimators, project managers, and electricians will be a part of the extensive knowledge base that the candidate can rely on to develop design.

Positive interaction with clients and other design team members with other trades is an essential element of the position.

Minimum Qualifications

 BS in Electrical Engineering or 7 years of experience in the field as an electrical designer in the

AEC field.

 A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing commercial, industrial, healthcare, and/or educational electrical building systems is required.

 Professional Engineering Licensure is an asset, but not required

 Design-build and/or integrated project delivery (IPD) methods

 USGBC's LEED rating system

 Knowledge of NEC and IBC

 Building Information Modeling (BIM)

 AutoCAD

 Revit MEP

 Microsoft Office and MS Project

 Interpersonal skills

 Speaking in front of large groups

Preferred Qualifications

 SKM Power Tools

 Arc Flash Analysis

 Coordination Studies

 AGI32 Photometric Analysis Software

Licensed in Utah, California, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho and North Dakota
