Companies need to make sure they keep up with any changes in employment law as well as developing our own policies to keep our employees happy. As a human resources officer, you'll be responsible for developing policies and procedures relating to the staff. Principal Accountabilities: To provide a variety of administrative duties for the organisation and staff to ensure effective support is given as part of specific project requirements. Be the first point of contact for all HR‐related queries, discussing problems with staff Administer HR‐related and company documentation, create and update policy and procedures Ensure the relevant HR database, documentation and policies are up to date, accurate and complies with legislation Assist in the recruitment process, set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence Manage and provide support to the Finances officer, especially with payrolls, benefits and pensions. Report to the Managing Director and to the board. Planning and Organising: 1. Help with preparing Board Meetings. 2. Coordinating the recruitment process from beginning to end including: advertising vacancies, high volume CV sifting, proactive sourcing, providing applicant feedback 3. Undertake Tasks associated with HR that may arise such as documents audit, redundancies, merging etc 4. Ensure that HR admin processes contribute to the efficient, timely and cost effective recruitment of employees 5. Ensure that all HR documentation is accurate, and up to date with legislation 6. On‐going management of our different benefit & pension schemes. 7. Supporting the management in reviewing the existing benefits portfolio 8. Management and admin of employees records, including holiday and sickness leave, and Next of Kin contact details , etc. 9. Ordering stationery and equipment 10. To have responsibility for IT systems such as back up of data 11.
