payload.Itisrecommendedthatasmallholebedrilledthroughthepayload
section’stube(airframe)andintothepartofthenoseconethatinsertsintothe
airframe(theshoulder).Screwintotheholea½inchsheetmetalscrew.
Payload:Yourrocketrequiresaseparatepayloadsectionthatisisolatedfrom
themotortubesection.Payloadisarecordingaltimeterandegg.

enoughdownsothatitdoesnotinterferewiththeinsertionofthenose
cone.TheMOSTcanprovideyouwiththeVelcrowhenyouregisteron
site.PleasefixthisVelcronearanairholemeasuring3to5mmin
diameter.
o The“eggstronauts”requireaspacesuittocontaintheirfluidsincasethe
flightdoesn’tgowell.Theeggs(providedonsite)willbemedium-largein
size(58–62grams,~2oz).
o TheMOSTwillinstallvideocamerasinthefinalrocketpreparationarea.
ThevideocamerawillbefixedtotheoutsideoftherocketwithVelcro
andtape.TheMOSTcanprovideyouwiththeVelcrowhenyouregister.

LaunchRailButtons:Twoinperfectverticalalignment(useanangleironto
align)mustbefixedsecurelytothelowertubeandoffsetfromthefins.Itisbest
ifthebuttonscrewsareanchoredinwood–liketheenginemountspacers–and
arespacedaboutonefootapart.Buttonsareinthekitbutalsoavailableatthe
MOST(callforpickup).Buttonswillbealsoavailableatthelaunch.Apairof
buttonsplusscrewsweigh4.2gramsor0.14oz.
Parachuteshockcordanchor:Epoxypatchingtheanchorcordtothelowertube
mustbedryandcapableofsustainingastrongtugfromtheshockcord.Ifthey
failthetugtest,therocketwillnotflyuntilanewpatchof5-minuteepoxyhas
beenappliedandgivenanhourtoreachfullstrength.
MotorMount:29mmmotormountmustbegluedsecurely.
Atablewillbeprovidedonsitewithvariousdrills,tools,andepoxywheremajorrepairs
andmodificationsmaybeattempted.
