Introducing the New UPM
Control from Bodine
DIP Switches for Quick
System Configuration
The new UPM control features seven
DIP switches to simplify configuration
of speed regulation and current limit.
With most Bodine motors the “out of
the box” system speed regulation is better
than 2% and the current limit is at least
200% of the motor nameplate rating.
The control also includes mating
connectors and a 10k Ohm speed pot
with every control.
Diagnostic
Lights
Two LED lights are built
into the UPM control.
A green light indicates that
the control is powered.
A red light indicates when
output current exceeds the
limit set by the TORQ pot.
Speed Regulation Pot
Speed regulation can be adjusted to fine
tune the control and motor system for
the customer’s specific application.
Standard
Mounting
The footprint is
interchangeable with
similar controls.
Adjustable Control
Parameters
The customer can utilize these five pots
to modify minimum speed limit, maximum
speed limit, torque limit, acceleration time,
and deceleration time.
Choice of Connections
Two models of the UPM control are
available. Model 0866 (shown) has a
plug-in terminal block. Model 0865 has
1/4” quick connect tabs.
Dual Input and Output Voltages
The UPM control operates either from 115 or 230 VAC, and
outputs either 0-90 or 0-180 VDC. Customers can use it for
both U.S. and European applications.
The Bodine UPM-3318C is a small unfiltered SCR chassis speed control for
brush-type DC motors. The UPM control offers many features in a compact package,
making it an ideal match with Bodine PM motors and gearmotors. Call today to find
out how Bodine’s newest addition to their motion control line can work for you.
