SL90B INFRARED SENSOR LAMP
INSTRUCTION
GENERAL:
This product is a PIR (Motion Activated) security Light, which
turns on when the PIR detects movement, and turns off after a
time period set by the controls. It has a build in day night (Lux),
time and sensitivity (Detection Distance) control. The sensor
uses an infrared energy discharging detector, IC and SMD
technology and its performance is stable and reliable.
FUNCTIONS:
1. This unit can be set to identify day and night automatically by adjusting the Lux control button according
to the ambient light (how light or dark it must be before it starts or stops working) thereby giving you
control over weather or not the light comes on during the day time or only at night time.
2. Adjustable detection distance: Sensitivity (SENS) ;
3. Adjustable time-delay: (TIME) How long the light remains on after activation;
Time-delay is recalculated continually after activation if one moves into the detection field when the
lamp is on.
SPECIFICATION:
Detection distance (<24℃): 12m
Delay-time: 5S~7min±2min

Installing process:
1)
Unscrew the lamp holder, fix the base to the wall (Sometimes supplied loosened already);
2)
Connect the power source according to connection-wire figure on the bottom-pan;
3)
Fix the lamp on the base, and then electrify it (switch the sensor on).
NOTE:

Avoid installing the unit in direct sunlight or near warm air vents (Air conditioners can effect your PIR);

Avoid touching the detection window (Fresnel Lens) with sharp things or coarse pollutants.

For maximum coverage of an area, the unit should be mounted 2.5m above the ground. If mounting the
unit at 2.5m is impractical, the unit may be mounted lower however the effective covered area may vary
from the specifications.

The unit works by sensing a moving heat source in it's detection area. The sensor should be adjusted to
point slightly downward for best operation if installed as specified. The light bulbs should also be adjusted
to point slightly downward for best operation. NOTE: make sure not to shine the lamps directly on the
sensor or very close (against) the sensor, otherwise the heat from the bulb will affect the sensor;

If you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring it is recommended you secure the services of a qualified
electrician who can insure the installation meets national and local electrical codes.

Avoid installing the unit where it will be in direct rain;

2 x PAR 38 LAMPS recommended. Do not exceed 150W×2 in total.
TEST:

2=TIME, 3=LUX)

After installation, turn TIME-knob(2) to minimum anticlockwise, turn the LUX-knob(3)
as well as the SENS-knob(1) to maximum clockwise- before switching on.

Switch Unit on, lamps must come on immediately and switch off after approximately
40 seconds, make it induct again 30s after it died out. It should come on and die
again within under 5 seconds.

If satisfied that the unit is working and has been installed correctly turn the time-delay knob(2) to set the on
time according to the length of time desired, LUX-knob (3) to set ambient light and SENS-knob (1) to set
detection distance. ( Lux set to maximum Works: Day and Night, Lux set to minimum: Works Night Only)
