Cartridge filter elements are uset in automatic self - cleaning air filter systems
based on single stage high efficiency barrier filter sets Each set consisting
of one cylindrical element and one conical element type
Top and bottom end caps are made of galvanized steel Rigid expanded metal inner
and outer liners support the media pack and prevent the element from collapsing
at extreme high pressure drop
The outer expanded metal liner protects the media from damage during handing
the filter media is securely fixed to the inner and outer liner by beads to prevent movement of the media during pulsing in order to avoid premeture wear of the media The filter media is water repellent and is corrugated perpendicularly to the pleat
direction to ensure even spacing of pleats and prevent them to collapse composed of a
resinimpregnated mixture of cellulose and synthetic fibers Mounting gaskets are made of closed cell seamless polyurethane or other EPDM material permanently glued to the cap.
