On the right side of the PDF file, click on Tools
In the Tools pane, click Content > go to Edit Text & Objects section > click Edit Document

To change the formatting of the selected text, do the following:
Select text
Right-click on the selected text > choose Properties
In the TouchUp Properties dialog box, use the tools to do any customization on the selected text such as: changing the font face, font size, font color and so on..
After changing the font face of the selected text, you might get the error message window if the font that was used wasn’t loaded in the system

When you use Edit Object tool to edit the content, there is a blue outline surrounding your selection what’s called an object which might be an image, graphic or the entire page. The advantages of using
Edit Object tool that you can drag, move selected object, or select more than one item at a time. Also, you can change to a different typeface of the text without getting error message from Acrobat
On the right side of the PDF file, click on Tools
In the Tools pane, click Content >go to Edit Text & Objects section > click Edit Object

You can then edit the selected object in a separate program, which allows you to make more deep and extensive changes. When you close the file in another program, it updates to PDF.
To set the application you want to use to edit the object, do the following:
Click the Edit menu > choose Preferences
In the Preferences dialog box, in the Categories box, click TouchUp > do the following:
Click Choose Image Editor… button to select the path to a desired image editor application
Click Choose Page/ Object Editor… button to select the path to a desired page/object editor application
Right click on the selected object > choose Edit Object to launch a preset program you

selected in the Preference dialog box.

On the right side of the PDF file, click on Tools
In the Tools pane, click Content >go to Edit Text & Objects section >click Edit Document Text
Move the cursor to the area where you want to place a new text and press CTRL key ( PC users) or Opt key ( MAC users)
In the New Text Font dialog, do the following:
Click Font down arrow to select a typeface ( Arial font recommended)
Click Mode down arrow to select the direction of the text which is either Horizontal or
Vertical
Click OK button
Enter your text in the New Text box

You can use the Add or Edit Text Box tool ( Typewriter tool) to fill out an actual PDF form.
On the right side of the PDF file, click on Tools
In the Tools pane, click Content >go to Edit Text & Objects section >click Add or Edit Text
Box
Notice that you cursor will get a letter A next to it when you move the cursor to the form.
Click the blank where you fill out with your information and start type text

In the floating toolbar called Typewriter , you can change the default formatting of the text you entered
To move the text around, do the following:
Move the cursor to the bottom of the text to make it change to a black headed arrow
Move the cursor to the blue line of the frame to make it change to the four headed arrow

Click and drag the frame to move the text to a desired position in the form
The different between Add and Edit Text Box tool ( Typewriter tool) and Edit Document Text tool is that a text entered by Typewriter tool is actually considered a comment. Therefore, you can hide the information that you entered in the PDF form quickly.
On the right side of the PDF file, click on Comment
In the Comment pane, click Comments List

Click the Filter comments button to show or hidden all the comments
It’s important to understand when you should use adding text tools so that you can protect your confidential information. If you send someone the blank PDF form in which all the comments entered by Typewriter tool were hidden, they still can print out the form including all the information you have hidden by selecting Show all Comments option before printing it out.
Therefore, if you enter confidential information in any PDF form, you should use the Edit
Document Text tool to add real text to the PDF
Adobe Acrobat X Pro allows you to edit objects in the PDF document such as blocks of text or art elements (lines and images).

In the Tools pane, click Content > go to Edit Text & Objects section > click Edit Object
Do one of the following:
Click on an individual object that you want to edit
Drag the cursor in the blank area to select multiple objects
A blue boundary will appear surroundin g object(s) that you’ve selected.
Right-click on the selected object and do any of the following:
Select any desired formatting options from the shortcut menu
Click Edit Image to edit it in the separate program used for editing graphics.

To select the image editor program , do the following:
Click the Edit menu > choose Preferences

Open up the Page Thumbnails panel on the left of the PDF document
On the Page Thumbnails panel, right-click on a thumbnail of the page you want to change the page number display > click Number Page…
In the Page Numbering dialog box, do the following:
Under Pages section, select the range of pages you want to re-number

Under Numbering section, select a desired option to re-number pages, the numbering style and prefix
Signing digitally PDF documents is useful in the real world because a digital signature is considered to be an approved signature that indicates to people that you are the one who signed it and the document has not changed since you signed it. Therefore, it’s extremely important for you to fill out any other fields or make any other edits as necessary in the document before you perform a digital signing on the document.

When you open the PDF that has a digital signature fields or any kind of form fields, you will see the little banner across the top of the document indicating this is a form. To highlight form fields in the document, click Highlight Existing Fields
Click inside the form field that requires a digital signature in the document

In the Add Digital ID wizard window, do the following:
Select A new digital ID I want to create now option > click Next button
Select New PKCS#12 digital ID file option > click Next button

In the Sign Document dialog box, do the following:
In the Sign As field, verify your signature selected
In the Password field, enter the signature password
Click Sign button
In the Save As dialog box, do the following:
In the File name field, type in “
” after the existing file name to indicate that it was signed
Browse where to save the document
Click Save button

On the right side of the PDF file, click on Tools
In the Tools pane, click Form >click Edit
In the Add or Edit Form Fields message window, click Yes
Click OK button if a pop-up window appears to notify that there is no new form field annotations in the current document

On the Toolbar , click to add the signature field
Drag the cursor to the place that you want a signature field to appear
Enter the name of the field in the Field Name : text box
Select Required field check box to require this signature field to be filled out before
On the Toolbar , click Preview button to complete
The digital signature will appear with the red border on the form

Drag the crosshair around the portion of the page that you want to keep, this will create a rectangle around the selected portion
If necessary, click on the corners the rectangle around the selected portion and drag it to adjust

Perform the process of cropping an individual page in the document
In the Set Page Boxes dialog box, do the following:
Preview and make additional adjustment before cropping the document such as Margin
Controls or Change Page Size options
Under the Page Range section, select the following option:
Select All option
In the Apply to: field, select Even and Odd Pages option
Click OK
