The incumbent’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Testing and test report production SHEQ. The successful candidate must meet the following basic requirements: An N6/S4 Mechanical Engineering. Vibration 1, 2 and 3 will be an added advantage Experience in Vib 1, Vib 2, Vib 3 Experience in bearing failure analysis Experience in Thermography 1 and Thermography 2 Experience in electrical motor analysis and root cause analysis Experience in basic tribology 5 years experience Computer literacy Experience in vibration data capturing, analysis and report-writing Experienced in Thermography image scanning and report-writing Familiarity with industrial safety requirements Good communication skills Leadership skills In-depth knowledge of RBMware Vibration software Technical knowledge Knowledge of the Quality Management Systems and ISO standards Knowledge of the OHS Act, as well as construction and environmental regulations Knowledge of Human Resources and Industrial Relations Self-motivation Self-driven and disciplined Previous experience in a power generation plant will be an advantage Residence in the eMalahleni area, or willingness to relocate The ability to work as an individual The ability to act a Site Supervisor if and when required Team player.
