The oldest portion of the present building was constructed between 1913-1915 at a cost
of $750,000.00 and opened in September of 1915. In 1927 the first of several ad¬ditions to
the building was completed. The first addition included additional classrooms and industrial
education facilities. The second addition, Johnson Activities building, was completed and
opened in 1957. The Industrial Technology area was renovated in 1984 with the addition of
new auto, woods and welding labs. The second floor mezzanine, new band room and fitness
rooms were also added. In 1991, the former PSAB Building was renovated to house the Science and the Family & Consumer Science Departments. In 1996 the buildings were linked.
Excellence in education continues as LHS grows. In 2003, LHS became 9-12. In 2007 more
construc¬tion began with classroom and campus renovations. It was completed in 2010. A
map of the building is available in the Main Office. As Lincoln High School continues to grow
we still provide opportunities for students to be involved in a wide variety of activities and
achieve academic success to be a part of our strong Lincoln High tradition.
