5 YEAR FABRIC REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE ON WILSON CANVAS AND
AWNINGS FABRIC.
For a period of five years from the date of purchase (installation), we guarantee to replace any Wilson
canvas and awnings fabric which is found to be faulty as a result of manufacturing defect and which
has been used in accordance with our performance ratings and care instructions.
Wilson Fabrics will replace the fabric free of charge, subject to the following conditions:
(A) Customer must complete and submit the online Guarantee Registration Certification (found on
page 2) within 60 days of installation of the awnings or canvas product.
(B) The fabric must be maintained as per the Wilson Care Instructions for Canvas and Awnings.
Claims against this guarantee are to be made through the supplier or fabricator, not Wilson Fabrics.
This guarantee extends specifically to the replacement of the damaged fabric only and excludes other
fittings and hardware, labour, consequential and incidental costs.
The fabric must be kept available to the technical department of Wilson’s Fabrics.
Not Covered
This warranty excludes:
1. Any condition or damage relating to, or resulting from, accidents, alterations, gradual
discoloration or fading over time from particulate pollution and debris, misuse, abuse, normal
wear and tear, removal and/or reinstallation, failure to follow the installation or use instructions
of Wilson Fabrics, or force majeure including, without limitation, storm, fire, floods, standing
water, explosions, earthquakes, vandalism, riots, acts of war, pollutants, acts of God or other
occurrences beyond the control of Wilson Fabrics.
2. Installations subject to salt spray or marine influences, severe industrial or corrosive
environments.
3. Shipping charges and costs for removing, disassembling, reassembling and reinstalling the
materials or components.
Warranty Claims
Warranty claims must be made as soon as possible after discovery of the defect and, in any event,
within the warranty period. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of payment of the full
purchase price by the original purchaser.
Please complete and submit the Guarantee Registration Certification (on page 2) within 60
days of installation of the awnings or canvas product.
