Responsible for managing the daily activities of the Technical Services department to support technology transfer (from drug development through to commercial operations), support existing commercial operations and instill best practices within the organization.
Here is what we are looking for:
 Four year Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree
 5-7+ years’ experience in GMP manufacturing or Process Development support of

 manufacturing.
Experience or training related to Bioprocessing is considered an asset
Leadership experience minimally at a lead hand level, preferably at the supervisor level
Here is what you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
 Manage the daily operations of the Technical Services department by applying good leadership practices.
 Develop and train Technical Services personnel and production staff to ensure they are trained to perform duties involving new equipment and new processes.
 Analyze and understand manufacturing processes in order to develop robust cleaning procedures.
 Participate and assist with investigation on process and cleaning failures
 Work closely with the Validation group to ensure that manufacturing and cleaning processes are robust and validation ready
 Participate in Client Project Meetings, manage client scope of work and execution of project tasks
 Manage and review performance of direct reports.
 Responsible for drafting Master Batch Production Records.
 Responsible for the timely review of executed manufacturing documentation.
 Responsible for Standard Operating Procedure development and/or modifications to support implementation of new processes new cleaning procedures.


Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and appropriate use of resources to meet cleaning and manufacturing requirements.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement.
Support Risk Assessment activities including Hazard and Operability Studies.

 Responsible for managing other activities assigned from time to time related to Technical

Services department.
Communicate project deliverables and find resolution on project issues to ensure client satisfaction.
