SPECIFICATIONS
General
Moisture resistance: Wet and damp locations,
Enclosure Type 3R with cover closed, when used with
weatherproof box.
Dry, indoor locations, Enclosure Type 1 with all other
boxes.
All materials are UV stabilized.
Impact and crush resistance in accordance with
UL 514C, UL 50, C22.2 No. 18 and C22.2 No. 94.
Thermoplastic Wall Plates
Material:
• Cover flap: Lexan.
• Spring screws: stainless steel.
Flammability: UL 94V-0, 94-5VA classification.
Operating Temperature: TIA/EIA 568-B.2
-25°C to 70°C.
Cover plate gasket material: UL recognized closed-cell
foam Neoprene (aging and oil-resistant).
Aluminum Die-Cast Wall Plates
Alloy 360 (has less than 0.004% copper content).
Rayntite® Covers
Material:
• Impact-resistant polycarbonate (durable thermoplastic).
• Gaskets: UL recognized closed-cell foam Neoprene
(aging and oil-resistant).
Flammability: UL 94V-0, 94-5VA classification.
Operating Temperature: TIA/EIA 568-B.2

Box or device mount for flexibility of installation (drill
points in 4 corners for box mounting).
Meets OSHA lockout/tagout requirements. Holes for
padlocks are ¼" (6.4 dia.).
The HI-IMPACT™ Weatherproof covers and wall plates are
authentic BELL® products known for their durability and superior
design. These covers provide a degree of protection against rain,
sleet, and damage from external ice formation.
Available in both "In-Use" and "Cover Closed" styles, use these
plates and covers with Quad106 or Style Line® frames to house
and protect keystone jacks and connectors in Harsh-e1 environments.
"Cover Closed" style plates are designed to provide protection to
the connector while not in use.
"In-Use" style weatherproof covers are designed to provide protection while the cords are connected. The hinged lids feature a
gasket-less design for long life, large openings to easily feed cords,
and reliable latching to hold covers securely.
APPLICATIONS
Use to protect data connections on exterior walls or other wet or
damp locations.
