The CWR Spot Free Rinse system provides a combination
of high efficiency and low maintenance. Your customers will love the

The CWR deluxe system uses reverse osmosis (RO)
technology and a thin film composite (TFC) membrane
to produce 98% pure water. So pure in fact that this technology

Controller/Meter - Regeneration cycle

optional meter initiated regeneration
cycle after a preset volume of water has
been softened.
Regeneration Controller - The LCTA
075-100 Series softeners are controlled
by a reliable Fleck electro-mechanical
controller. The fully adjustable 5 cycle,
single controller, operates all steps and
regeneration cycles for both vessels,
including upflow backwash, downflow
brining and slow rinse, rapid rinse, brine
refill and downflow service.
Control Valve - The sequence control
valve operates on commands from
the valve controller. A hydraulically
balanced piston glides effortlessly along
non-corrosive spacers and seals to a
precise position. This precision
motor-driven valve performs in the
toughest applications and is made of
high quality brass for a long and reliable
life. A single valve regenerates and
controls flow through both resin tanks.
Resin Tanks - All LCTA 075-100 Series
models feature non-corrosive fiberglass
tanks, with a one piece thermoplastic
inner liner. The tanks have a maximum
working pressure of 150 psi and a
working temperature up to 120°F.
The tanks are approved by NSF, UL,
and meets WQA Standard S-100, and
FDA. All fiberglass tanks carry a 5 year
warranty.
Water Meter - The water meter is
standard on all models. Regeneration is
initiated when a preset volume of water
is used. Once the meter gallon setting
zeros out, the system automatically
switches tanks and the exhausted tank
goes into the standby mode.

Powders
CWR 200 powdered chemicals can be mixed three ways: in the tank which directly feeds the pumps;
in a barrel to be drawn with a hydrominder; or in a basket system with water sprayed over the powder.
In the Tank:
Mix the powder at approximately 1 pound per 5 gallons of water.
In a secondary barrel:
Mix the powder 1 pound to 1 gallon of water. Siphon with Hydrominder using no tip. Best results
with hot water.
In a basket:
A Hydrominder must be used to control the water to the sprayer. Use needle valves to control both
the spray of water over the powder in the basket and to allow some water to flow into the tank. Use
the sprayer valve to control the spray pattern in the basket and the other to control the strength of
the mixed chemical - open the flow to the tank to decrease the strength of the soap.

Relief valve stuck, partially plugged or improperly
adjusted valve seat worn.
Inlet suction strainer clogged or improperly sized.
Worn packing. Abrasives in pumped fluid or severe
cavitation. Inadequate water.
Low Pressure
Fouled or dirty inlet or discharge valves.
Worn inlet, discharge valve blocked or dirty.
Leaky discharge hose.
REMEDY
Check precharge; if low, recharge it or install a new one.
Replace nozzle, of proper size.
Tighten or replace; use correct belt.
Disassemble, reseal and reassemble.
Clean, adjust relief valve; check for worn and dirty valve
seats. Kit available.
Clean. Use adequate size. Check more frequently.
Install proper filter. Suction at inlet manifold must be
limited to lifting less than 20 feet of water or -8.5 PSI
vacuum.
Clean inlet and discharge valve assemblies.
Replace worn valves, valve seats and/or discharge hose.
Pump runs extremely rough,
pressure very low
Restricted inlet or air entering the inlet plumbing.
Inlet restrictions and/or air leaks. Stuck inlet or
discharge valve.
Proper size inlet plumbing; check for air tight seal.
Replace worn cup or cups, clean out foreign material,
replace worn valves.
Water leakage from under manifold.
Slight Leakage
Worn packing.
Install new packing.
Oil leak between crankcase and
pumping section.
Worn crankcase piston rod seals O-rings on
plunger retainer worn.
Replace crankcase piston rod seals. Replace O-rings.
Oil leaking in the area of crankshaft.
Worn crankshaft or improperly installed
oil seal-O-ring.
Remove oil seal retainer and replace damaged
O-ring and/or seals.
Bad bearing.
Replace bearing.
Worn main bearing from excessive tension
on drive belt.
Replace crankcase bearing and/or tension drive belt.
May be caused by humid air condensing into water
inside the crankcase.
Change oil intervals. Use any high grade automotive 30
weight nondetergent oil.
Worn packing and/or piston rod sleeve, O-rings on
plunger retainer worn.
Replace packing. Replace O-rings.
Oil leaking from underside
of crankcase.
Worn crankcase piston-rod seals.
Replace seals.
Oil leaking at the rear portion of the crankcase.
Damaged crankcase, rearcover O-ring, drain plug
O-ring; or sight glass O-ring.
Replace cover O-ring, drain plug O-ring or sight
glass O-ring.
Loud knocking noise in pump.
Pulley loose on crankshaft.
Broken or worn bearing.
Scored, damaged or worn plunger,
Overpressure to inlet manifold.
Abrasive material in the fluid being pumped.
Excessive pressure and/or temperature of fluid being
pumped.
Check key and tighten set screw.
Replace bearing.
Replace plungers.
Reduce inlet pressure.
Install proper filtration on pump inlet plumbing.
Check pressures and fluid inlet temperature; be sure
they are with in specified range.
Over pressure of pumps.
Reduce pressure.
Running pump dry.
Do not run pump without water.
Excessive play in the end
of the crankshaft pulley.
Water in crankcase.
Frequent or premature failure of the packing.
