Overview
Applications
The FP6 is a flameproof version of Klaxon's wide area siren,
providing effective signalling over large distances.

Evacuation alarm; fire alarm; toxic gas release;
COMAH alarm; general purpose alarm
Utilising a traditional siren sound, it provides a recognisable
alarm and is often used for critical alarms such as toxic gas
release and disaster warning.
Certified to EExd llC T4, the FP6 is manufactured from cast
aluminium and will give a very long life when mounted
outdoors. Powered by a 3 phase motor it is designed for
roof or pole mounting.
Using appropriate control equipment the siren can
produce two distinct tones for different types of alarm.

Operating
FP2C Siren
The FP2C is a powerful motor driven siren for use in hazardous
area applications and harsh environmental conditions. It
produces a siren sound which is easily recognisable and is
often used for critical alarms such as toxic gas release.
Manufactured from cast aluminium, it is designed for a long
life in outdoor locations and is suitable for signalling on
chemical and petrochemical installations.
Certified to ATEX II 2 G EExd IIB T6, it is suitable for Category
1 use.
