6. Mounting the Camera
Fix the mount to the casing in the correct area before attaching the bracket
(not supplied). See the diagram below illustrating how the mount for the
bracket can be fixed to either the top or the bottom of the camera:

Note: Should you wish to use this camera externally you will require an Xvision external housing.

1. Product Description
The PCC225-2 is a high quality Colour Body Camera with a High
Resolution Sony 1/3” Super HAD CCD and Xvision IXC1 DSP for great
colour balance, resulting in a naturally vibrant image. The CCTV
Camera is designed for use in high risk applications where high
resolution surveillance is required. The camera is supplied without lens
and mounting equipment, a wide range of accessories are available for
use with the camera, including lenses, brackets and housings.
On the rear of the units you will find the following:
VIDEO OUT - Allows you to connect BNC plug to enable Video.

AUTO IRIS - Allows you to connect an Auto Iris lens.
VIDEO or DC - Match this setting to the type of Auto Iris lens.
AWB (AUTO WHITE BALANCE) or OFF - Set this to AWB when the
camera image requires automatic adjustment of the colour temperature
to match the type of light available, so that white and other colours
appear as natural as possible.
1.Remove the cap from the top of the Lens mount.
2.Screw the lens into the lens mount.
3.Connect the video output to the monitor or other video device through a
75 Ohms type coaxial cable.
4.Connect the power source with a DC jack. The LED indicator will light up
5.Once the picture appears on the monitor, adjust the focus and iris of the
lens to obtain the best picture.
6.If the focus is still not clear, adjust the camera and lens as follows:
-- Aim the camera at a subject more than 20 metres away.
-- Turn the lens and the lens mount dial until the subject is in focus & the picture is clear.
-- Tighten the lens mount screw.
To back focus the camera
Loosen the Lens Mount screw located on the side of the camera (using
a screwdriver) and then turn the Lens Mount dial as required to adjust
the back focus as shown in the diagram. Tighten the screw after any
adjustments have been made.

AGC (AUTOMATIC GAIN CONTROL) or OFF - Set to AGC to apply
Automatic Gain Control which will brighten the picture when in a dark
environment.

EE (AUTO ELECTRONIC EXPOSURE) or AI (AUTO IRIS)- Set this to
AI when using an Auto Iris lens, or to EE when using a standard lens.

The camera bracket (not supplied) can be attached to the top of the camera by adjusting the mount.

BLC (BACK LIGHT COMPENSATION) or ON - Set to BLC when
viewing objects against a very bright background. This setting will
brighten the whole scene so the object can be seen clearly.
LEVEL - When using DC Auto Iris lenses this adjustment screw allows you
to alter the video level (brightness of the image).
