to fit any head size. Filtration is supplied by a chemically treated filter that

In today’s society, exposure to AIDS (HIV), Hepatitis, B and other blood-borne
diseases is a deadly serious problem. Use SIRCHIE ®’s clear plastic evidence
collection tubes to protect evidence collection personnel. Available in two
sizes for your convenience. The ECT1 tube utilizes an ethafoam stopper for
immobilization of sharp objects such as syringes and are 8” in length, 1 5/16”
in diameter with a 0.030” wall thickness. The ETC3 tube is perfect for holding
larger types of evidence such as knives and multiple syringes. The ETC3 has
two end caps and an ethafoam insert for protecting sharp ends. Tube is 3” in
diameter, 12” in length and has a 0.035” wall thickness. Use SIRCHIE’s
BIO400 Biohazard Strips to properly seal and mark tubes.

Telescopic Evidence Collection Tubes
These tubes feature a telescopic length extension. All tubes are made from
translucent polypropylene except for ECT4 which is clear PVC. Notches on
the internal tube allow for telescopic expansion to fit contained evidence. A
twist-lock mechanism on the round tubes retains the extended position while
the hexagon end prevents rolling. The reusable tubes are rigid, durable, and
resistant to humidity and oil.
