SPS Switch Panels
Product Description
The SPS, Single Position Switch, series switch panels
combine the popular look and feel of membrane switches with
unique removable inserts and the option of removable cover
bezels. Each insert is sealed against damage from liquid spills.
These modular switches are extremely versatile, both functionally
and cosmetically.
SPS inserts provide building blocks to simplify any cabin
switching requirements. These inserts are available in toggle
(alternate action), momentary, bar graph indicator, selection
indicator, annunciator, *rocker, headphone jack, and ringer/buzzer
models.
Four (4) and eight (8) segment alphanumeric LED display
modules are available to display switch settings or selection. The
toggle and momentary modules are available in either 2 or 5 amp
relay models to provide integrated load management. The inserts
can function based upon discrete inputs/outputs or may be
integrated with other modules to control functions over the RS-485
serial data bus.

Toggle Switch. Most versatile switch. Internal toggle circuit,
fuse protected. Handles up to 2 amps. For 5 amp loads,
relays are incorporated into switch panel. Optional status
LED (colors: amber, red, blue, or green).
Momentary Switch. Simple momentary to ground switch.
Typically used for volume control, selection switches, etc.
Optional status LED (colors: amber, yellow, red, blue, or
green).
Bar Graph Indicator.
Multicolor 6-segment indicator.
Provides visual display of adjustment levels. Left to right
sequence. Common anode arrangement. Green, amber,
blue, or multi-color LED’s available.
Indicator. 2 – 5 position indicator displays switch selections.

Common cathode also
available. LED colors: amber, red, blue, or green.

Annunciator. 2 – 4 position annunciator displays status
information. Dead Front (invisible until lighted). Common
anode arrangement.

Backlighting colors: amber, red, blue, or green.
Headphone Jack. Provides cosmetically appealing 1/8”
headphone jack. With or without backlighting.
Rocker Switch. Dual toggle or momentary switch mimics
“rocker” switch action. Backlighting colors: amber, red, blue,
or green. Usable with non-removable bezels.
Ringer or Buzzer. Piezo-electric provides audible signal for
phone or Satcom. Ringer module sounds like phone. Buzzer
module has constant tone. No backlighting.
SPS Spares Kit. Optional kit includes extra inserts, fuses,
and circuit boards. Packaged to easily store aboard Available
only when ordering SPS systems to ensure match to the rest
of the switch system.
