All assignments will be given the weightage in terms of grades to be included in Evaluation I. The
work will be assessed in terms of accuracy, neatness, creativity and timely submission.

Enhance your readings through newspapers, magazines and good story books.

covered so far.
 Recite stories , poems, in front of your parents / grandparents to improve your speaking skills.





and fit.
 Have a healthy body wash and brush your teeth properly.
 Eat preferably healthy homemade food and reduce the frequency of taking junk food.
 Bring the practice manuals and cursive books, G.K books, Art Files and Computer books when
the school re-opens.

Water Conservation
Water is a crucial natural resource. Without water, there would be no life on Earth. Water also affects our
health, lifestyle, and economic well being. Water conservation is an area of concern. Not only is the
cleanliness of the water an issue, but the amount of water that we need is a concern. To ensure that we
have a sufficient amount of water available, we need to teach and practice good water conservation
techniques. We have assembled the given holiday homework to ensure the students learn about water
conservation.It aims at:
 Making students understand the importance of water and spreading the awareness about it.
 Allowing students research and explore the uses of water and need to save it.
 Developing in students a sense of realization about various states of India facing water scarcity.
 Prepare the Integrated Project on A-4 size sheets and compile them in a self designed folder.
 Imagine a day without water and write a paragraph on how did you spend the day and realized the
great importance of water.
