XON46.BFN
Dual Mode Mini Fiber Node
BKtel’s XON46.BFN is a universal dual mode RFoG and
HFC fiber node for use in FTTx (Fiber-To-The-Home/
Building) access networks. It enables the setup of all-fiber
DOCSIS networks in RFoG or standard HFC architecture,
selectable by the network operator. The mini fiber node
follows the specifications of the ANSI/SCTE 174 2010
RFoG (RF over Glass) standard and IEC 60728-14 RFoG
standard especially including remote control function. It
can be easily integrated in SNMP/HTTP network
management systems.

4 Rotary code switches for gain and slope adjustment
4 Die cast zinc housing
4 Return Path Operating Mode:
o Burst-Mode for RFoG and CW-Mode for HFC,
software configurable
4 Very low power consumption
4 1- or 2-fiber optical upstream/downstream interface
4 Optional available with GPON WDM port
4 LED indication of module powering, opt. input/output
power status and reverse path transmitter activity
4 Compatible with DOCSIS 3.0
