Grid Mounted: Able to be mounted 1” or
1-1/2”
Flange Mounted: Two 14 GA galvanized
cross mounting yokes with adjustable side brackets. Two 5/16” x 1-1/2”
weld bolts with nuts, steel washers and
rubber washers for mounting to housing.
Optional 3/4” deep 14 GA galvanized
plaster frame angle, field assembled
(Supplied only when specified).
Surface Mounted: Four 5/16” dia. mounting holes in top of housing.
Construction: 20 GA die formed steel
housing with lapped and spot welded
seams. 20 GA cold rolled steel hinged
door and lens retaining angles. Optional
18 GA stainless steel door & hinge provided only when specified.
Hinge: Continuous steel piano hinge
spotwelded to housing and door frame.
Stainless hinge when optional stainless
door is specified.
Latches: Three captive knurled head
thumb screws with cage nuts.
Shielding: Symmetric/Assymetric acrylic
lens with silver based 3/8” grid pattern
to provide RFI shielding. Meets MIL
standards for EMI suppression. Optional
.125” clear prismatic acrylic diffuser with
silver based 3/8” grid pattern to provide
EMI/RFI shielding.
Gasketing: Closed cell foam gasket
under lens, above inner door edges and
around perimeter of housing flange.
RIF Suppressor: Filter for suppression of
radio frequency interference. Mounted
in wireway. One filter per ballast standard.
Finish: All metal components pretreated
and finished with white powder coating
90% reflectance. Optional stainless door
and hinge available.
