KLM destination focus: Fukuoka Earlier this year, KLM became the first airline to offer direct flights between Fukuoka, Japan and Europe, bringing the total amount of flights offered by Air France and KLM to 40 weekly flights from across the UK and Ireland. Fukuoka is not only the economic centre of the Kyushu region and the fourth largest Japanese passenger market to Europe but it is also a tourist destination with interesting cultural and historical highlights such as Japan's first Zen temple, Momochi Seaside Park and the famous Yatai street food stalls. KLM offers three flights each week from its hub in Amsterdam to Fukuoka. To book tickets visit www.klm.com. Besides a connection to the ever growing city of Guangzhou, this China Southern flight offers connections through to China, Australia and New Zealand. Is the move to more sustainable fuel sources driven by consumer demand or by a need from within the business? KLM is consistently demonstrating its leading role in developing sustainable biofuel. For eight years in a row, KLM, together with Air France, has been sector leader on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. We are combining new and existing technology, processes and efficiency initiatives to achieve this. Correction from previous bulletin: Air France and KLM have increased connectivity from Manchester Airport with 42 KLM flights every week and 45 flights with Air France For further information/images on any of the stories in this newsletter, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Red via AirFranceKLMTeam@redconsultancy.com or on 0207 025 6647 unsubscribe from this list | update subscription preferences Copyright © 2013 Red Consultancy, All rights reserved.
