A new route, a new airline, Montpellier - Amsterdam with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Montpellier Mediterranée Airport is pleased to announce that KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, in the Air France-KLM group, member of the Skyteam alliance, has chosen Montpellier as its 6th destination within France. As from 18 May 2015, KLM will operate Montpellier-Amsterdam on a daily basis. This new link with the Amsterdam hub will offer greater possibilities for flight connections throughout the world. The KLM flights, in code-share with Air France, will be on sale from January 6, 2015 and the return ticket starts from 230€ TTC*. The service will be operated by a 80-seater Fokker and two classes are available (Business and Economy). The arrival of the new airline in Montpellier confirms the interest of the Air France-KLM group in Montpellier Mediterrannée airport and the potential of its catchment area. The airline group will now be present under 4 different brands: - Air France, KLM, HOP! and Transavia.com This announcement also demonstrates the interest for the Dutch market of the Montpellier and Languedoc destinations.
