Remote Monitoring System
VizioGuard is a remote environmental monitoring system to increase the security of your facilities and reduce
unforeseen downtimes of your equipment. Its modular conception allows to monitor many sensors and trigger
emergency actions like individual control of power outlets and alert sending via SNMP traps, Email or Syslog messages.

VizioGuard is a flexible and expandable modular system that
will expand with your needs. It can be used as stand alone unit
and expanded quickly and easily with many sensors and other
peripheral devices.
„ Environmental input monitoring
A wide range of analog sensors can be monitored by the
VizioGuard System. Currently, sensors are available to easily
monitor temperature, humidity, ambient light and current
consumption anywhere on the xBus.
„ Digital input monitoring
VizioGuard can monitor up to 260 sensors with dry contact like
door contacts, smoke or water detectors.

„ Current consumption monitoring
Up to 16 alternate current probes can be monitored, logged
and used to trigger emergency actions.
„ IP device monitoring
Using PING or Scan functions VizioGuard can monitor up to
128 IP devices,

in case of lock-up of the monitored IP device and automatically
restart it.
„ Power supply monitoring
VizioGuard can monitor its own power supplies and send
Syslog messages, SNMP traps or Emails in case of power
failure. It can also monitor the power supplies of all the
connected Digital Input Modules and all ePowerSwitch devices.
„ Scheduler for time-controlled applications

traps) according to a defined time table.
„ Programmable rules
VizioGuard can automatically carry out up to 255 rules to take
predetermined actions in response to a specific event. So a
rule can be defined to switch a power outlet OFF and send an
e-mail when a predefined temperature is reached or if a contact
door is open.
„ RTC (Real Time Clock)
The VizioGuard has an RTC with Battery backup which
supplies date and time for all logging options. This RTC can be
synchronized manually or automatically using one or two
SNTP/NTP server.
„ Multiple concurrent access
One administrator and up to 254 users can have concurrent
access to the VizioGuard web server using an http or an https
connection.
„ Remote Power Management
VizioGuard can be cascaded with up to 16 power switches
(ePowerSwitch 1XS or 8XS) to control up to 128 power outlets
over the xBus interface. The administrator can create groups of
power outlets to control servers with redundant power supplies
and define restart and power-up delays for each power outlet.
„ Redundant power supply
To improve the security the VizioGuard and its main peripherals
have dual power input.

„ Easy Configuration
Full configuration can be performed through the Web using an
http or https Web GUI. The system has contextual built-in
online help which describes all screens and functions.
„ Easy daisy chaining cabling
All xBus devices may be daisy chained together using standard
RJ45 cables.
„ Improved log file reporting
Event logs are written to the internal log file and can be sent to
a primary and a secondary Syslog Server and to an Email
address.

The back shows built-in
