TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
I) DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS :
1) End Use & Requirement : These PID Controllers shall be used in ACVE system of
WMP,FRFCF. These items are to be delivered at FRFCF stores, IGCAR, Kalpakkam.
2) PID CONTROLLER :

ii) It shall be electronic microprocessor based / digital indicating type PID controller. It shall function as a single
loop controller, receiving an input from a measured variable and giving an output of desired characteristics as per
setting and the following specifications. The indication of measured variable ( MV) , set point ( SP) and output to
the final control element shall be by LED or bar graphs. The MV, SP and output bar graphs shall be of different
colour for easy distinguishability or shall be 3& ½ digits LED. It shall be flush panel mounted with dimension of 98
x 98 x 100 mm or as mentioned in make specified above. Enclosure protection shall be IP 65.
iii) Indications :

: 200 segments bar graphs / 3&1/2 digits LED
Output segment : 50 segments bar graphs / 3&1/2 digits LED
Power supply & Fault indication : LED lamps.
Deviation alarms
: Flashing position of indication above.

3) IDENTIFICATION:
Each instrument shall be identified with the following information:
The Manufacturer shall inscribe the Manufacturer’s serial no. on the instrument.
The identification serial no. shall appear on the test data sheets.
a) Manufacturer’s name or identity.
b) Manufacturer’s model and/or serial number.
In addition, each instrument shall be identified by aluminium tag of suitable
dimensions, affixed to it firmly in a prominent position by means of a corrosion
resistant wire, and bearing the following information in a permanent (preferably
engraved) form:
a) Purchase order No.
b) Tag No. as indicated in the individual specification sheet.
4) PACKING:
All openings shall be protected by suitable plastic caps/plugs. Individual item shall
be packed with adequate sealing to prevent ingress of moisture /dust and with
adequate cushioning material to prevent damage during shipment, delivery and
storage at site. The method of packing is subjected to approval of purchaser/
indenter. All the packages shall be clearly marked in a suitable permanent manner
with the following information:
a) Purchase Order No.
b) Brief description of the item
c) Quantity
I)
QUOTATION : Quotations shall be submitted in duplicate along with company’ s
profile, manufacturing techniques, sources of raw materials, manufacturing and testing
facilities available as well as quality assurance program supported by detailed
technical literature. All the specifications shall be answered and any deviation in the
quoted item from above specifications shall be clearly brought out. Reputed
manufacturer / supplier with QA & testing facilities for instrumentation items shall
only be considered.
Any previous supply of instrumentation items to any DAE units and / or reputed
companies shall be mentioned with purchase order details.
II)
FACTORY EVALUATION, INSPECTION , TESTING & DOCUMENTATION
Purchaser reserves the right to evaluate supplier’s works himself or by his
representative. Successful bidder shall have to present the item to the purchaser for his
inspection and shall also carry in his presence necessary tests as mentioned in QAP to
demonstrate performance of the item as per ordered specifications.
IV )
DELIVERY PERIOD
: 12 months from the date of PO placed.
V)
WARRANTY PERIOD
: 24 months from the date of delivery.
VI)
VALIDITY
: Quotation shall be valid for 120 days .
