One woman who lived on the mountain felt sorry for the bears,She beganleaving food for them on her back doorstep.She meant well, but she really iust added to the problem. As the bearsbecameusedto taking people'sfood, they lost their fear of humans.That made them more dangeroustnan evet. s Meanwhile,16-year-oldAnna Knochelwas getting readyto camP out on Mount Lemmon. Knochelwas part of a 4-H group from Pima County. The group had plans to camp at OrganizationRidge.This wasa popular campgroundon the mountain. It was dark when she and the othels went to bed.
