GW-206 CISC 100 – Computer As A Tool (4 Credit Hours)

Students are responsible for reading the Course Schedule and Syllabus
in their entirety, and are expected to discuss the contents among their
Learning Teams.
Throughout the six weeks, there are twenty total numbered assignments
(numbered 1 to 20). These assignments [Individual (IND), Learning
Team (LT), and In-class (IC)] are described in the Course Schedule in
the week they are due. Some of the assignments span more than one
week. Each assignment is due before class in the week that it is
described. Week I assignments will be completed in the first class and
details of all assignments will be provided during the first class.
• Note: Learning Team Assignments (LT) are meant to be completed as a
team effort.
NAMING CONVENTION: As stated in the syllabus, assignments must follow
the naming convention in order for any assignment to receive more than halfcredit:
*Asterisk denotes assignment that spans more than one week.
WEEK 1
No assignments are due before tonight. If you want to think ahead, review
the textbook: the COM (1 - 26) and WIN (1 - 96) chapters, and Chapters 1
and 2 of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
